Anya and Ben have set the date for next September! And I can't WAIT to shoot it! Errin and Mike's big day finally arrived!! And it came with a bang! The entire day was filled with love, laughter and outrageous surprises. From colored Converse sneakers for the whole bridal party -- complete with bright knee-high socks -- to the stick-on mustaches sported by all during our shoot, this crew was hell-bent on making this a day to remember, celebrating full tilt and having a blast! The focus of the day, however, never shifted away from the true reason for us all gathering together. In a gorgeous natural setting, Danielle and Greg took the leap and said "I do!" The two lovebirds tied the knot in Custer State Park, with a ceremony that was understated and breath-taking in its beauty. My favorite part about this wedding was that it was just SO personal. All the thought that was poured into each detail was evident. The cake topper was a wire sculpture of a bride and groom on a bicycle built for two -- a nod to the couple's cross-country bike trek. The bride's gown was worn by both her mother and grandmother, tailored and modernized specially for Dani's big day. The guest book?...

Jennifer and Jeremy got hitched! Their wedding was a bright, cheery way to usher out the summer. Such a fun group of friends and family gathered together to celebrate the love we were all recognizing that afternoon. The most striking element of the entire wedding was the amazing pop of color everywhere! Such vivid, bright, beautiful colors surrounded the entire day. It was impossible to NOT embrace all the joy! These two. They are the reason I love what I do. So very much! From our very first meeting, we just plain clicked. (No pun intended.) It was so much fun to sit and chat with these two, who were so open to trusting me to do my thing and to rock it. And then we did their engagement shoot, and I just never wanted it to end! Jaci and Chris came all the way from California to get married in Spearfish Canyon here in the Black Hills -- and what a stunning location it was! Lush and green, it provided the ideal backdrop for their nuptials. These two were just fabulous. So madly in love with one another! No matter how many curveballs the day threw at them (and there were some doozies!), they never lost focus on what really mattered: their love. Errin and Mike are an amazing couple. I'm guessing that somewhere along the line, Errin decided that she HAD to have a guy who made her laugh. Because that's exactly what she found in Mike. We wandered along the creek, along with their three awesome dogs, and just talked and laughed and carried on like old friends. I was really touched by how much these two really mesh so well together - and of course I can't WAIT until their wedding now!! It's going to be a fabulous journey, filled with laughter and fun!
